A warm welcome to Abbotskerswell Repair Workshop. We want to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill by repairing more. Help us do this by bringing us your broken items for repair. NOTE: we are not restorers but repairers, we can always give advice on what your item might need to bring it back to use.

Abbotskerswell Repair Workshop is exactly what the name suggests: you bring broken items from home such as tools (especially sharpening) and smaller electrical items. Please note – we cannot deal with Cookers/Washing machines/Tumble dryers and the like. All electrical items are PAT tested before they are returned or sold. Why not have a look around our website and see what we do. We have an online system to track all repairs so please note you will have to register here link to book in, or send us a message if you’re not sure if we can repair the item Link to the contact us page
Remember: THERE’S NO CHARGE! All we ask is for the cost of any parts needed and a donation for our time. This saves you money and helps reduce items sent to landfill. It makes sense
WHY REPAIR
We throw away lots of stuff – too much – even things with almost nothing wrong. Often, these items go to landfill, wasting precious raw materials, and energy creating new things.
Save from landfill
reduce CO2
Save precious metals
Save manufacturing energy
join a community
Supporting the community and saving costs
So far we have saved the community £££s in new items and repair costs
Repairing items not only helps to save and look after our planet but also saves you a lot on repair costs as well as the cost of buying items again new.Â
How to get involved
We are always looking for volunteers, so if you have experience in anything, please reach out and get involved. We are solely reliant on our volunteers and their expertise. Come and be part of the repair revolution!Â
